Hair: Vienna’s first official wig – CABULA6 – Michael Pinsky – Igor Dobricic

The City of Vienna has commissioned the award winning performance group, CABULA6 in collaboration with Michael Pinsky and Igor Dobricic to create Vienna’s first official wig.

In a four day around-the-clock performance, the hair from hundreds of people living in Vienna is being woven together to form a unique Viennese wig. From the 6th – 9th July, premier hair stylists from around the city offer free haircuts whilst the wig is created, in front of the audiences’ eyes, from the hair on their heads. Once complete, the wig will begin to live its own life as it travels to major museums around the world.
