Marianne Magnin

marianne magnin

Marianne Magnin has been writing in a variety of contexts for the last 25 years, from professional publications, translations, proof reading, blogging up to poetry writing, both in English and French.

She has a global experience, initially gained in the consulting (PwC) and energy (Shell) sectors. In parallel to her corporate career, she took a keen interest into emerging art initiatives, such as Arts & Business‘ Board Bank and other pro bono contributions. In 2009, she surprised many people in the industry by giving up a senior position at Shell in favour of a period of retraining designed to move her skills and experience into the arts and culture sector.

In 2010 she set up M van Fullbroeck Associates, a consultancy company in the field of creativity and art management, amongst other services operating m{us}e – an art club collaborating with venues and corporations, designing art events and offering solutions to build bridges between the arts and business.

She has been the Board Chair of The Cornelius Arts Foundation since its inception in 2011. In 2013 she was appointed as Finance Trustee/Treasurer to the board of The Rimbaud and Verlaine Foundation, an organisation promoting poetry and cultural exchanges between the UK and France.
