Visiting Arts: 200 voices. Call for Artists – deadline 26 September 201

Visiting Arts are asking for an image, short film, piece of music or text responding to the London 2012 Olympics to reflect this global event. They want to give artists from every country in the world the opportunity to tell the world what it’s like to live and work in their country in the 21st century. They ask artists to respond to three questions-

• What is it like to be an artist working in your country?
• How do your local surroundings and context influence your work and your practice?
• Is there anything you would like to say to other artists across the world about your situation?

200 Voices will profile, spread and showcase artists online throughout 2012. Launching on January 1st, submissions will be streamed throughout the year.
