Luke Jerram: Sky Orchestra

Luke Jerram’s Sky Orchestra was an audio landscape performance delivering music to sleeping people from out of the sky over London between 22 – 27 July 2011. Seven hot-air balloons with speakers attached took off at dawn and dusk dispersing specially composed ambient music by Dan Jones.

The project was supported by The Mayor of London and London International Festival of Theatre (LIFT) heralding a year to go to the 2012 Games.
